Hi Shawn,
Thank you for calling today to see if we received our shipment… very customer courteous of you! Yes – we did receive it last night and I just completed setting up the backdrop that was in that package. Our convocation ceremony can proceed tomorrow with its new beautiful backdrop as planned and it has all worked out to the best! Thank you so much for your extra effort. It really made a difference. I know that retrieving a parcel from your shipping dock and setting up air delivery are not part of your job description, and I am also aware of the extra effort and diligence that this took on your part, so I really appreciate all that you did. You truly are a wonderful customer representative for ATS.

I’ve cc’d my manager so she also knows how impressed I was with your customer service. Please feel free to share this email with your supervisor. I will forever remember how you went that extra mile to assist me during my time in need.

Thanks again and great job!!!

Subject: Driver compliment

Hi
I just wanted to drop you an e-mail and let you know about our AMAZING driver Mike. Mike has been our driver since the summer and he's absolutely fantastic and we just wanted to make sure that people at ATS know how great he really is. As the inventory co-ordinator at lululemon athletica, ‘X’ Mall, I deal with Mike everytime we receive a shipment. He is always on time, super quick, friendly, talkative and we always look forward to seeing him. He will take the boxes to our off-site storage room which is on the other side of the mall without us even having to ask if he sees that our backroom is full and won't be able to hold our delivery. He even swings by at the end of the day to grab our empty bins. Mike is also the only driver that brings us a copy of our delivery sheet, which might not seem like the biggest deal, but it means that we don't have to waste time making a copy of it for our records. All these big and little things that he does make such a huge difference to us.

This past week, we've started receiving our shipments in the evening and boy do we ever miss Mike and notice a difference in efficiency. We all feel like he's a part of the lululemon family here at the ‘X’ Mall. He even called us one night after he got back to your distribution center to give us a heads up that there were almost 40 boxes waiting for us in case we needed to call in extra people for that shipment. At this time of year, that was such a big help so that one person didn't come in at 6am to 40 boxes by themselves and so we could process our shipment and have a successful business day. These are all some of the things that Mike does that shows how he goes above and beyond EVERY DAY, even though he's not our driver anymore.

Just wanted to pass along this great feedback about Mike, and make sure that he gets recognized for being so phenomenal!

Subject: RE: Rush Heart Valve To Victoria - success story

Dear All,

I received a call from a panicked operating room nurse Friday night (about 6pm YYZ time) while I was sitting in the Victoria, BC airport waiting for my flight home. They had just used their last Edwards Lifesciences Aortic 25mm Heart Valve and did not have a backup in case of emergency over the weekend.

After several calls back and forth the valve was picked up from Source Medical by ATS and was on a late Friday evening flight to Vancouver and then on a Saturday morning flight to Victoria where the valve was ultimately delivered to the OR desk at 1:23pm Saturday.

I just spoke to the head Cardiac nurse in the OR and the valve was actually implanted in the first case early Monday morning. Had we not delivered this valve Saturday it would not have been available for this case.

I wanted to thank everyone involved in this emergency delivery especially Ed and Lise with whom I was communicating directly.

And to emphasize the importance of everyone's efforts: THE OPERATION WAS A SUCCESS AND THE PATIENT IS DOING WELL.

Helping patients is our life's work and LIFE IS NOW.

Thanks again to everyone.

9:15am - Call comes into X from Ste.Rose General Hospital in Ste Rose Du Lac, Manitoba. A remote destination. The call is classified by Barbara K, as a life and death situation. A child is in desperate need of MERREM.

9:16am - Elia at ATS, is informed of the urgency to get this product delivered. She contacts the dispatcher in Winnipeg and informs him of the situation.

9:17am - The driver is contacted directly and drops everything he is doing. Drives over an hour to the remote town and delivers the product.

10:47am - The emergency room receives the product and the young child is medicated.

Sometimes, taking a moment to realize all of our impacts can be very rewarding.

I’m not sure who I should contact regarding a comment I have regarding one of your team members?

I have been dealing with Sharon for about 6 months on a regular bases, and I have to say the level of service and high tolerance to my questions, concerns and once in a while demands have always been looked after in a professional manner and with out complaint.

I believe that when someone has shown this type of Customer Service it’s important to recognize them.

Dear Blair:

I wanted to say thank you to you and your dispatch boys on a great job handling our freight in Edmonton. Doug & Stefan really stepped up to the plate with our freight issues and I was so impressed that Stefan actually came to our booth at the end of the AB Gift show to see where we were and to ask me if I had any questions. ATS not being the official show carrier, I am very impressed. This is the first time in 10 years that we did not have frozen air bubbles in our product – we asked for heated service and that is what we got.

We use ATS for daily pickups and have found Chris B also to be invaluable in serving our needs.

Great work and thanks that you put your customers first.

Christina
I feel compelled to write you this brief note as a result of the interaction that I recently had with one of your employees (it was very positive). I have worked in retail for over 25 years and have had some terrible experiences. It is refreshing to have contact with someone who knows what it is all about. I had a query about a billing issue for our store. The person that I dealt with, Terri Anthony, was very cheerful, helpful, and, in my opinion, went way beyond what I am sure are her regular duties to help me out. This was the first time that I have ever spoken to her. She has a great presentation over the phone. I can't say enough about how well that I was treated. I just thought that you should know, as we always hear about the negative, you should also hear about the outstanding.
Thank-you for listening (reading actually),

Subject: ...Special to PEI

Good Morning Lucie,

The attached email is the follow up to a delivery initiated over the weekend.

We had a rush delivery to a PEI customer, with the product coming from Logan, Utah. (2 pallets, 3100 lbs) We were able to fly the product into Boston, but were unable to secure a reefer trailer from there to Charlottetown.

AT 10 pm Friday night, I contacted Barry in Moncton and explained that this would be arriving in Boston at 7 am and would be moving North.

Barry immediately made arrangements for a trailer and driver to meet the shipment at the NB / Maine border and would then make the final delivery Monday morning.

Barry continued to follow up with me on the Saturday with the final call Saturday night stating that this was now back, safe with ATS.

He then called on the Monday morning confirming delivery.

I am unsure if ATS has in internal recognition program for this type of service, But I do believe that Barry went above and beyond to ensure that both ourselves and the final consignee were taken care of. There was no discussion of the time of the initial call, or that this was being dealt with over a weekend, just to the end result.

It is this kind of service that makes ATS stand out above other carriers.

Thank you

Al,

Transportation Manager

Team "T"

To whom it may concern:

This letter is long overdue since the reasons I am writing have been so consistent over the time we have had our current delivery driver, Tom. In short, he is one of the most dedicated people I, and the rest of the staff has ever had the pleasure of knowing. Without exception he is cheerful, upbeat, helpful and always pays attention to the littlest details. Totes are always placed neatly and efficiently, he tries to minimize the normal disruption a delivery sometimes causes to our work, but it is his manner that is most exceptional. I can only imagine how the days are often rigorous for him. The heavy lifting, the traffic to contend with, the awkward access of some clinics (ours included), and a host of other challenges I would know nothing about. Despite all these things, he is unfailing in his personal presentation, and his attitude is one I can learn from myself. We have come to look forward to our daily deliveries as a result.

So from all the doctors and staff, we wanted him and his team to know how very much he is apprecriated and to thank him for the exemplary job he does.

I would like to thank you for the Christmas basket and calendar. The past six months have been great and at ease for my shipping needs. ATS has brought peace of mind for myself and my customers. Your customer service team has been excellent for helping me with any problems and making sure my shipments are looked after. In my past 15 years dealing with couriers, I would have to say that ATS within six months has showed me more than (names of 4 competitors) have in my career. (99.5%) rating.

I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and the best for the New Year.

I e-mailed the team my schedule during the holidays.

Re: Student Visit of Wednesday February 25, 2004

We, the second-year students of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Rail Traffic Controllers Program, would like to extend our thanks for your hospitality during our visit to your workplace. We appreciate the efforts of Mr. R. F. in arranging and welcoming us on this observation of Andlauer's Calgary facility, as well as the thoroughness of Ted's answers to all of our questions.

One part of your operation that we found most interesting was the implementation of an ambient-air controlled shipping area. Not only is it a unique solution to an under-considered challenge, it shows the commitment of Andlauer to knowing the needs of each individual customer, and meeting those needs.

We found this visit to be an exciting and informative experience in our learning development...

Just a note of thanks

Over the past couple weeks; starting just after the Christmas holiday, we were hit with a major pet food issue that was caused by the ban of imported pet food from the US. These bans caused all of our Members to all at the same time try and purchase as much pet food as possible. I just wanted to pass on that we here at... appreciate the effort and time that was spent by your on site staff and drivers in Edmonton, Calgary and else where, who tried to ensure that all deliveries were made in the timeliest fashion possible. The two dedicated drivers, Darrel and Harry, as well as the extra drivers that we have doing our in town deliveries did a remarkable job considering the volumes and weights of some of the orders. A big thank you to Dale! Dale showed a great ability to coordinate not only with me but with my shippers, Members and his drivers to get the freight to the clinics. It is refreshing to see a company that saw a challenge and met it head on and not only did the job but did it well!

Great Job ATS!

Mr. MacAskill:

I was given your business card some time ago by our delivery person, Billy. He indicated at that time that you would like to have some feedback as to the customer service your drivers provide.

I have been with... for 11 months now, and we order our office supplies on an average of approximately once every 2 weeks if not more often.

I would like you to know hat Billy has been wonderful! He always comes into the office with a huge smile. He is an extremely personable young man.

We have dealings daily with various couriers and delivery drivers and I must say that sometimes you have to wonder who rained on their parade. It almost seems as though we are putting them out by having them deliver supplies.

Billy has never had a negative comment to say about anything – including the miserable weather. You are very fortunate to have such a positive, pleasant employee.
